Death certificates are legal documents which are necessary to prove that a death has occurred. No, you can not make photo copies! Cremation Services By The Sea initiates the death record and shares it with the designated certifying physician. Once signed, the record is forwarded to the state and county for review. Upon a approval from theses governing bodies, the registration of the death certificate becomes finalized. Only at that time can death certificates be ordered and finally issued on your behalf. If there is a delay from any of the above parties, there will be a delay in the filing and registration process.
